The Joy of learning Staff photo by Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith Three-year-old Katie Hill and her mother Shannon Horne appear to be excited about the variety of materials offered at the Porter Memorial Library on Ga. Highway 212 which is celebrating it's one year anniversary this week. Katie and mom were reading, "The Hanukkah Mice," when this photo was snapped. Horne said she and daughter visit the location a couple of times a week for reading material, movies and computer time. Horne called it "a good library with a helpful staff." The library will hold a drop-in open house for the public Sunday from 1-5 p.m. to commemorate their year of service.
