Covington Mayor Ronnie Johnston recently signed a proclamation designating March as Youth Art Month in Covington. The GFWC/Service Guild of Covington presented the proclamation which supports the National Council for Art Education and underscores the importance of art education for the youth of Covington. The document was posted at Covington City Hall, the Newton County Convention and Visitor's Bureau at the Newton County/Covington Chamber of Commerce and the Newton County Library.
