Ronald Roosekrans, 77, of Sedona, Arizona, recently made his transition surrounded by his family. He was born on April 25, 1934 in Bronx, New York and was a 30 year resident of Rockdale County. The son of Arend and Edna Roosekrans (deceased), Ronald was a loving father and grandfather. Ron has two sons, Ryan Keith Roosekrans, who lives with his wife Jolene and their two sons, Arend and Oliver in England, and Randall Wade Roosekrans who lives with his wife Natasha and their two daughters, Adelin and Madison in Florida. Ron retired to the Red Rocks of Sedona, in 2004, where he enjoyed relaxed living and was a member of the local Elks Lodge, but his heart was always with his family, which was a vital part of his life. Ronald grew up in Riveredge, N.J., attended high school at Principia Upper School in Missouri, and graduated Cum Laude from Farleigh Dickenson University in N.J. Mr. Roosekrans was a decorated veteran, having served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Ronald was employed as a Credit Executive for Sears, Roebuck and Company in N.J. and Atlanta, followed by Macy’s Department Stores in Atlanta and California where he won several Leadership Awards for his work with the Credit Women Association of Georgia. Mr. Roosekrans donated his body to science and there was a private, intimate Memorial Service for the family. Please make any memorial donations to Hospice Compassus of Sedona, Arizona.
