Rockdale Baptist Church, located at 1295 Smyrna Road in Conyers, will host a Life Line Screening on Feb. 29 for those wishing to be screened for risk of stroke or bone fracture. Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries, irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, a strong predictor of heart disease. A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered for men and women. Cost starts at $149. Five screenings take 60 to 90 minutes to complete.
