Mr. Walter Glenn Williams, 57 of Oxford passed away February 7, 2012 at Rockdale Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Williams was a loving father and grandfather who was a “Jack of all trades” and a very loving person. He loved country music and playing his guitar. He was a very caring and giving person who truly loved God and his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a truck driver by trade and was known by his CB Handle “LiL Man”. Mr. Williams is survived by his children Chasity & Teremy Hyatt of Oxford, Shanon & Melissa Williams of Oxford, Alisha & Steve Black of Jacksonville, FL., siblings Herbert & Carolyn Williams, Betty Thomas, Oscar & Montine Williams, Marie Lowry, Raymond Williams and Mary & Randy Gilmer, grandchildren Ashley Hope Hyatt, Austin Glenn Hyatt, Hailey Alexis Williams-Black, Hayden Presley Williams-Black and Alyssa Grace Williams and his ex-wife and friend Helen Strickland and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams’ family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM at Wheeler Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday February 10, 2012 at 11:30 am at The Tabernacle of Praise in Mansfield with Pastor Steve Hall and Rev. Lamar Ford officiating.
