Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition Blu-ray (G)
Movie: 4 out of 4 stars
Discs: 4 out of 4 stars
Considering that "Lady and the Tramp" is a Disney movie originally released in 1955, it takes a lot of narrative chances and goes far in exploring the "star-crossed lover" motif. Modern audiences might consider it naive and a tad too precious, but its themes and the accompanying score and soundtrack are utterly timeless. This new Diamond edition includes a bounty of bonus goodies that almost eclipse the film itself. "Lady and the Tramp" is a more than essential title for any families' video library.
