School holds Black History program

The Challenge Charter Academy Chorus performed "Life Every Voice and Sing," "Hold On/Victory" and a music medley. They include Azhanee Jackson, Keondra Nipple, Desiree Smith, Iesha Smith, Dejanae Thames and Denezel Smith. The event also featured dancers and other student performances.

Tuskegee Airman Wilbert Mason visited Challenge Charter Academy on Wednesday to speak at a special Black History program on Wednesday morning. The special event included an extensive list of visitors, including alumni from R.L. Cousins and local community members, as well as a special skype session with NASA mission specialist Leland Melvin.
