ROCK SPRINGS, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities are searching for two inmates who are accused of escaping from Walker State Prison.
The Georgia Department of Corrections said 42-year-old Buell David Emberson and 63-year-old Fred Dalton Brooks are believed to have fashioned a device that allowed them to breach the fence at the medium security facility in Rock Springs.
Emberson was convicted of several charges, including aggravated assault and eluding police.
Brooks was convicted of armed robbery and burglary, among other charges.
Authorities say anyone who spots these two men should call 911 immediately and avoid approaching them.
