Scoutmaster James Wall of Troop 973, shown here with Rochelle Smalls, district executive for the Yellow River District, was recently honored for his 40 years as a Scout leader. Wall earned his Eagle Scout Award two weeks after his 14th birthday, and has dedicated his life to mentoring young men. Wall also presented Joshua Schindler with his Eagle Scout Award, Wall's 30th Eagle Scout, a milestone for Scoutmasters. The Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts presented Wall with a Certificate of Merit Award recognizing his dedication and service. Wall's Troop 973 meets at First Baptist Church of Conyers each Thursday evening.
