Newton County Career and Technical Instruction students attended the annual CTI Fall Leadership Conference in Savannah last month. Three Eastside High School students won first place in the five Academic Quiz Bowl competitions. Solange Lord, left, won first place in spelling, Keygan Thorne, middle, won first place in history and Ryan Norrington, right, won first place in math.
