Conyers The Heritage High School softball team kept rolling along Thursday in Conyers. Kierra Camp tossed a complete game, four-hitter and struck out eight and five players had two hits as the Patriots won their 12th consecutive game, 8-2 over rival Salem.
Heritage, which improved to 17-1 and 4-0 in Region 8-AAAAA, hasn't lost since August 17 when it fell 7-3 to Chattooga in the Lady Tiger Invite at Temple High School.
While Camp was handling things on the mound, Nielah Floyd (2 for 3, 3 SB), Diamond Callwood (triple, single), Kamryn Toney (two doubles), Taylor Moser (2 for 3 ) and Macarri Wilkerson (two singles) were busy at the plate.
Salem dropped its third consecutive game and fell to 3-8 and 1-3 in Region 8-AAAAA. Both the Seminoles and Patriots have off until September 4 when Heritage hosts Cedar Shoals and Salem travels to Alcovy.
