The Georgia Perimeter College, Newton Campus Relay for Life team gears up for the American Cancer Society fund raiser on Friday at The Church at Covington.

Organizers reported 950 participants raised $242,000 for the American Cancer Society at the Newton Relay for Life, held at The Church in Covington on Friday evening. During the event, participants took turns walking laps around a track from sunset Friday until sunrise Saturday.
