Jazz violinist Ken Ford will headline the Elks Aidmore Music Festival on April 28 at the Georgia International Horse Park.

CONYERS -- Lovers of blues, jazz and soul music listen up. For $15 (or $20 the day of) you can get hours of musical entertainment at the inaugural Elks Aidmore Music Festival, set for 2 p.m. on April 28, at the Georgia International Horse Park.
The festival features a lineup of musical talents from headliner and jazz violinist Ken Ford to B.B. King's daughter and blues/soul singer Claudette King.
All proceeds from the festival benefit Elks Aidmore Inc., which provides residential services on its 141-acre campus in Conyers for about 20 at-risk teenagers and young adults, both boys and girls. The organization also serves about 80 youths in non-residential programs. All children assisted by Elks Aidmore are in the foster care system.
"Our goal is that these children become healthy and productive adults," said Dawn Butler, director of development for Elks Aidmore in an earlier interview.
The following artists will be performing at the Elks Aidmore Music Festival: Ken Ford, electric violinist who plays jazz, R&B and hip hop; Claudette King, a blues/soul/R&B/pop singer; Big Robert 7 and The Scene of the Crime blues band; Will Culbreath, keyboard player, songwriter and vocalist; Tampa Blue, blues guitarist; Son Jazzy Latin Orchestra, a salsa, merengue, Latin jazz band; Jonathan Kilgore, a saxophonist; and Frets on Fire, a teen blues band.
