ROME -- The big moments are coming at a fairly frequent pace for Tyler Austin these days.
The former Heritage standout, now playing for the Single-A Charleston RiverDogs of the New York Yankees organization, ripped a go-ahead three-run home run in the ninth inning in Charleston's 7-5 win over the Rome Braves Sunday.
Austin, who also had a single, hit the home run off John Cornely with two outs in the ninth, sending Charleston to a 3-1 series win.
But Sunday wasn't the only big game in the series for the right fielder. In Thursday's opener, Austin hit a pair of home runs; Friday he tripled and doubled, and in Saturday's game, Austin went 4-for-4 with two doubles.
In eight games through Sunday, Austin led the team in a number of categories, including batting average (.438), RBIs (nine) and slugging percentage (1.031).
