The March 27 Board of Commissioners meeting exposed a situation that demands a close objective review by Rockdale County residents -- a proposed change in the 23-year managerial use of Clerk of Court funds.
At hand, the same legal financial management process used for services in administering the current office of the court was challenged by a sitting commissioner of eight years, notwithstanding the undisputed fact that current services far exceed services provided by the previous 23 years in the Clerk of Courts office.
It is suggested that a close, objective voter review of this situation would confirm that if each commissioner would concentrate on equity and application of policy to every voting citizen, in lieu of apparent prevailing special interest, Rockdale County would attain the true title of being progressive.
