ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say thunderstorms expected across north and central Georgia could turn severe.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says the main threats from the storms on Thursday and Thursday night will be large hail, potentially damaging wind and lightning.
A hazardous weather outlook from the weather service indicates the storms are part of an upper-level low pressure system moving southeast toward Georgia.
