COVINGTON -- The Covington Police Department has arrested a suspect in
connection with the attempted robbery of the Bank of North Georgia on U.S. Highway 278 and Mill Street Thursday morning.
According to Public Information Office Capt. Ken Malcom the suspect was arrested about 10 minutes after the incident occurred at on Newton Drive, near the intersection with Mill Street.
