CONYERS -- If you need business cards or a corporate brochure or promotional items with your company's logo, THP Graphics Group may be the place to go. If you need a strong marketing presence on the web, THP Graphics can do that, too.
"We are really a one-stop shop for your business' needs," said Krista Riley, senior project manager with THP in Conyers.
THP, located on Culpepper Drive, offers printing, design and marketing services. It has five commercial printing presses and nine digital print presses.
"We have customers all over the world, and we can service the smallest walk-in request for someone who needs 500 business cards to the largest need for businesses who need catalogues and brochures," Riley said.
In addition to printing business cards, brochures and catalogues, THP can print on a wide variety of promotional items, such as hats, shirts, jackets, cups, pens, banners, signs, gift baskets, clocks, to name a few.
"We can print anything you can put your name on," Riley said. "When we say that, we really mean it."
Keeping up with changing technology to provide for their customers is a hallmark of THP, she said.
For example, the company has the only Heidelberg Speedmaster 8-color Perfector in the Southeast and one of only a few in the country. Riley explained that this 56-foot, sheet-fed printing press can print full color on both sides. The press also has an aqueous coater that can provide a glossy or satin finish.
In 2009, THP installed a Canon color digital press and a Canon black and white digital press. Riley said the digital presses provide clean, accurate printing for smaller orders, whereas the Heidelberg is ideal for large customer orders.
Now THP is making another transition to meet its customers' growing needs.
While the core of THP's business has been printing services, and continues to be so, the company is now offering solutions for the digital age.
THP President Jefferson Riley said that in September, THP entered into the fields of web design, search engine optimization and marketing, as well as social media optimization.
He explained that traditional websites don't work as well on smartphones and other devices like the Apple iPad. The majority of Internet searches are now done on mobile devices, which makes it imperative that companies offer mobile websites.
"Small- and medium-sized businesses know they need to advertise on the Internet but don't really know how," Jeff Riley said. "Now they need to call us because we know what to do."
THP offers a full array of web design services, and will help manage their customers' presence on Twitter, Linkedin, Yelp, or Facebook.
"We are making a defined shift to multichannel media and print is included in that," he said.
Tom Hay, founder of the Rockdale Citizen, also founded Tom Hay Printing. In 1987, Jeff Riley, who owned Commercial Printing Services at that time, and then-THP owner, David Bond, merged their businesses. The next year, the two opened THP in the current 25,000-square-foot facility. According to THP's website, the company was soon ranked among the top 50 fastest growing companies in North America for five years in a row.
Since 2001, THP has acquired six other printing companies around Georgia. THP Printing Company has been rebranded as THP Graphics Group Inc. and is now the parent company for THP Design, THP Copy Centers, THP Promotional Products and THP Corporate Apparel.
Krista Riley has grown up in the printing industry and has worked in just about every aspect of the business. She has developed a deep appreciation for the way her father has operated THP.
"He runs a very organized company," Krista Riley said. "For a time, I worked for another printing company in another location, and I realized then that most printing companies don't work in the same manner as THP."
She said THP is dedicated to providing quality products, using "the best machines, the best presses, to provide the best for our clients."
"Our customers are our first priority and we will bend over backward for them," Riley said.
