Joseph Y. Stock, who owns Better Hearing Aid Service in Covington, was recently appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to the Georgia State Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Dispensers. Stock has been a Georgia state licensed hearing aid dispensers since 1974 and is board-certified in hearing instrument sciences.
He is a member of the Stone Mountain Rotary Club, of which he is a past president, and Rotarian of the Year. He also served on the advisory board of DeKalb Technical College.
He resides in Stone Mountain with his wife Barbara and they have three children and 11 grandchildren.
