Conyers police arrest two bank robbery suspects
Conyers Police arrested a Covington man and a Conyers man Friday morning in connection with a robbery of the Wells Fargo bank branch on Dogwood Drive, near Ga. Highway 138. The arrests were made following a foot chase from the bank. Police closed off an area along Old Covington Highway and toward Gees Mill Road when the robbery call was made. Police has since allowed traffic back into the area.
