LITHONIA, Ga. (AP) -- A 49-year-old man is accused of working as a pharmacist in DeKalb County without having a license.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports authorities say Jonas O. Mireku of Snellville was arrested on Wednesday. He had been working at a DeKalb County CVS.
Company spokesman Mike DeAngelis said Thursday that CVS determined that Mireku had falsified his license and notified regulators.
Mireku was booked into the DeKalb County jail, where he remained Thursday.
Records show Mireku once held a pharmacy technician license in Connecticut, but it expired in 2004.
