Gregory Beecham

Gregory D. Beecham

Air National Guard Airman Gregory D. Beecham graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Beecham earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Yvette Thomas of Conyers. Beecham is a 2008 graduate of Salem High School.

Samantha R. Lasure

Air National Guard Airman Samantha R. Lasure graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Lasure earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the daughter of Anthony Lasure of Hackensack, N.J., and granddaughter of Minnie Lasure of Covington. Lasure is a 2008 graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School.

Ryan C. McDowell

Army National Guard Pvt. Ryan C. McDowell has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

McDowell is the son of Krista McDowell of Conyers. He is a 2010 graduate of Young Americans Christian School.
