COVINGTON -- The Newton County Sheriff's Office has issued a statewide Mattie's Call for a missing 54-year-old cognitively impaired male by the name of Harry Galanty.
A group home where Galanty resides reported the man missing when they discovered he had walked away from their Fairview Road location sometime after 8 a.m. Monday.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid flannel jacket, white shoes and broken eye glasses.
Mr. Galanty is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 120 pounds with brownish-blonde hair.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts or who has had contact with this missing person is strongly urged to contact 911 or the Newton County Sheriff's Office with this information at 678-625-1421 or 678-625-1401.
