Ocie Mae Long, age 90, of Monroe, died on October 18, 2011. She was born in Greenville, Georgia on March 25, 1921 to the late Issiac James Peugh, and the late Euzebie Reeves Peugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Allen E. Long, and her son, the late Johnny Long. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Nancy Long of Monroe, Pat and Jack Orner, of Grantsville, Maryland; Sister, Mary Gober of Monroe; 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, October 20th at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Money officiating. Interment followed at Hillandale Memorial Gardens. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
