Staff Photos: Erin Evans Newton County 4H students created "Square Crow Jane" from a broken easel and cane and soda cans. Her limbs are held together with coat hangers and she is dressed in old clothes donated by Keep Covington-Newton Beautiful and Covington Ford. She is held up in a milk carton with rocks for support. Keep Covington-Newton Beautiful and Main Street Covington encouraged local non-profits to create "squarecrows" out of recycled and organic materials. The squarecrows are on display in front of the Historic Courthouse along with several others throughout the month of October.

Newton County 4H and other organizations have decorated the downtown Square with some very special "squarecrows."
