Georgia United Credit Union representative Vickie Loeper will present the first of two fall financial seminars at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Porter Memorial Branch Library, 6191 Ga. Highway 212 in Newton County. The presentation will offer basic money managing skills for individuals and families and tips on saving money, both short- and long-term.
The second financial seminar will take place at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Porter Memorial Branch and will focus on reducing debt before the holiday season. Loeper will also offer parents ways of teaching money management skills to children.
