Covington UMC holds 9/11 service

Local leaders from the Covington area were honored at Covington First United Methodist's special 9/11 Worship Service. They were, front from left, the Rev. Andrew Strickland; and Roger Harrison, senior vice president of the Office of Economic Development Covington/Newton County Chamber of Commerce. The leaders were presented with artwork consisting of painted tiles from children of CFUMC and the community created during the CFUMC Change The World, Impact Our Community Day in May.
