E.E. (Papa Gene) Mullinax of Covington, GA died Friday November 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1921 in Pelzer, SC to Thomas Ervin and Agnes Thompson Mullinax. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Covington. Mr. Mullinax is survived by caregiver and friend Esther Mullinax of Covington, GA; daughter and son-in-law Debra and Mark Mullins of Gray Court, SC; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Lori Mullinax of Fayetteville, GA; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three step-children and three step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Thomas Ervin and Agnes Thompson Mullinax, grandson Justin Mullinax, and daughter Patricia Forrester. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday November 28, 2011 at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in College Park with Rev. Ronnie Brannan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00PM.
