COVINGTON -- Motorists should be prepared to detour off their usual routes when taking several county and city streets beginning Monday.
CSX Railroad will close five crossings to replace cross ties and rails. Each crossing will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on the assigned day and remain closed for 24 hours.
The schedule is as follows:
-- Hazelbrand Road -- Monday
-- McMahon Road -- Tuesday
-- Emory Street/Ga. Hwy. 81 and Industrial Drive -- Wednesday
-- West Street -- Thursday
This schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen delays.
