Mary Waters
Miss Mary E. Waters, age 85 of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Milstead, GA, died Friday, November 11, 2011. She was a retired inventory control manager with Redstone Arsenal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Lorene Waters; sister, Sara Moon; and brother, Lonnie Miles Waters. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Henderson, Loganville; 6 nieces and nephews; numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Miss Waters enjoyed working at the Boys and Girls Club, teaching English as a second language, GED classes, and sewing classes. She was employed with the U. S. Government for 42 1/2 years, serving 20 years at the Atlanta General Depot at Fort Gillem. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Milstead Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Walker and Rev. Doug Craver officiating; interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday, November 14, 2011 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to a church of your choice in memory of Mary E. Waters.
