U.S. Marine Pfc. Ted Britt died at age 19 defending his country in the Vietnam War. At the time of his death, he had launched a single-handed attack on the North Vietnamese Army in order to save the lives of fellow soldiers. Britt posthumously earned a Purple Heart and Silver Star. He was honored on Thursday at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Park-Walk of Heroes in Rockdale County by the Atlanta Vietnam Veteran's Business Association.
