Folks at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Clark Street began what will be known as the Clark Street Farmers Market on Wednesday afternoon. Coordinator Ann Ezell said plans are to run the market with fresh produce from local growers each Wednesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. until Oct. 26. The first market featured baby collards, potatoes, onions, fresh strawberries, homemade breads and soaps. Above, Sandy Azzouzi, an employee of Bowl & Whisk Breads, helps set up their booth offering 12 different types of breads and an assortment of French pastries.
