Students in Piedmont Academy's second and fifth grades won an award by collecting the most "box tops for education" in the last school wide competition. The students dressed up as a character in one of their favorite books and went on a parade around the school. Afterwards, they were treated to ice cream sundaes. Media Specialist Traci Brady helped coordinate the event.
