Students from Eastside High School got a workout Tuesday afternoon assisting the Rotary Club of Covington in distributing Vidalia onions to members for the club's major fund raiser. Rotary members are selling the 25-pound bags of the famous onions for $18 each. Proceeds benefit the club's Empty Stocking Fund. Shown here are, from left, Rotary member Wayne Pugh, owner of Liway Trucking where the onions were brought for distribution, and Eastside students Bryson Malcolm, a junior; Matt Hitchcock, junior; Paul Hadaway, junior; and Cameron Boyd, sophomore.
