Georgia Perimeter College's Sallie Paschal, George Lonberger, Jeff Meadors and Julie Locicero organized more than 100 GPC faculty, students and staff to give back to Newton County for the Great American Cleanup 2011 over the weekend. The group participates in the cleanup multiple times per year as well as in River's Alive cleanup program. The group included Dual Enrollment students and GPC students from Walton, Rockdale and Newton counties.
