Georgia Perimeter College's testing and early college speakers, faculty
and recruitment staff recently presented March Testing Madness, a first
ever collaboration between the college's Newton Campus and the Newton County School System at Eastside High. Students from all Newton County high schools and parents attended the event, which was sponsored in part by the GPC Foundation.
GPC employees Deatrice Allen (Testing), Eric Cuevas (Recruitment), Jeff Meadors (English Faculty) and Julie Locicero (Honors and Dual Enrollment) worked with NCSS's Tina Daniel, EHS Lead Counselor, to pull off the event. It helped to fulfill GPC's mission and goals to strengthen student achievement and create a climate of teamwork in local communities.
