Newton High School's FFA will hold its spring plant sale for the next
couple of weeks.
The sale will include summer bedding plants and ferns, as well as
vegetable plants like tomatoes, squash, cucumber, eggplant, peppers, zipper peas, zucchini and corn.
The sale will take place in the Newton High School barn from 3:30 to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday through Friday. NHS students will sell items at the Porterdale Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 26, April 2 and April 9.
Items range in price from 50 cents per 4-inch potted plant to $10 for
ferns and a 36-plant flat of vegetables or flowers.
Cash or check made payable to Newton High School are acceptable forms of payment.
