Eastside High School's Drama Players will present its annual spring performance this week.
At dress rehearsal Max, portrayed by Tommy Powell is seduced by Diana, played by Madison Cloer.
The group's production of Broadway's smash hit "Lend Me A Tenor" by Ken Ludwig will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with a 3 p.m. matinee also on Sunday.
The two-hour comedic performance is set in the 1930s and tells the story of Tito Merelli, the fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, arriving in Cleveland to make his debut with the local opera and promptly going missing. As Saunders, the show's presenter, conspires to cover for Tito's absence, placate his hot-blooded wife and distract his most passionate fans, chaos ensues.
The show is intended for young adult audiences ages 13 and up. General admission tickets sold at the door cost $5 for students and $7 for adults; teachers are free.
