A one-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday afternoon about 3:15 p.m. on Interstate 20, about one mile east of the Almon Road exit, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
An 18-year-old driver of a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo was eastbound in the left lane when he maneuvered toward the median wall, over-corrected and traveled onto the south shoulder, GSP spokesman Gordy Wright said. The vehicle then struck a ditch and overturned.
The driver was the only occupant and was uninjured. He was cited for failing to maintain a lane.
