A crew with Designed Installations of Oxford works to replace tree wells on the Square in downtown Covington. Seven tree wells on the north and east side of the Square are being replaced; the old design was a trip hazard, according to City Forester Kevin Sorrow. The old trees, which were suffering root decay, will also be replaced with hightower willow oaks. The remainder of the trees and tree wells on the west and south side of the Square are expected to be replaced next year.
