In addition to being a University of Georgia student, Connor Pledger is also striving to build a career as singer-songwriter. He recently released his first recording, "Detour," an acoustic-based production.A Heritage High School graduate, Pledger still maintains ties to the area and will play at the Celtic Tavern in July.

COVINGTON -- Covington police officers were tasked with what proved to be a difficult assignment Thursday morning when they attempted to apprehend a nude man who was running down U.S. Highway 278.
