COVINGTON -- A Covington man called police Friday evening to report that he had been robbed at gunpoint at the intersection of Cecilia and Puckett streets.
The man told police he was giving two black men a ride in his car when they held him at gunpoint and robbed him of $600 cash, his wallet, drivers license, and Social Security card. The victim told police the suspects fled on foot up Puckett Street toward Collier Street.
The victim said one of the suspects was over 6 feet tall and wearing red shorts and no shirt. The second suspect was described as shorter than the first and wearing black pants and no shirt.
