The Covington Elkadettes and Elks ordered and distributed approximately 3,000 dictionaries for third-graders in Newton County Elementary Schools. "Each third grate student will get to take the dictionary home," said Elkadette Miriam Wheeler. "Research shows that third-graders need to use a dictionary and that it will help them develop their vocabulary ..." Here, the Elkadettes prepare to distribute the dictionaries.
