Blatter resigns as FIFA president June 2, 2015

It may be tough for Newton County students to get back in the groove of doing classwork after a weeklong break from school due to the snow and ice storm that caused treacherous roads and Monday's Martin Luther King Jr. birthday holiday.

This came just two school days after a two-week long semester break from Dec. 20 to Jan. 4.
