Amanda Elliott and Michael Bridgewater were married on Nov. 20 on St. George Island, Fla. The Rev. Themo Patriotis officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mitch and Terri Elliott of Friendsville, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Elliott of Conyers and the late Judge F. Elliott Jr., and Carolyn and Hugh Bearden of Fayetteville, Ga. She is a 2000 graduate of Salem High School. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed as a middle school counselor in Cherokee County.
The groom is the son of Mike and Diane Bridgewater of Pelham, Ala. He is the grandson of Guy and Liliane Brouillard of Key West, Fla., and the late Bill and Mary Jo Bridgewater of Pelham. He is a 2000 graduate of Pelham High School. He is a graduate of Reinhardt University. He is currently employed with Cryolife as a microbiologist.
Brittany Elliott Hubbell of Marietta served as the matron of honor. Sarah Furse of Tallahassee Fla., and Emily Ozment Meztista of Omaha, Ne., served as bridesmaids.
Drew Murphy of Canton served as the best man. Jim Owen of Pelham and Brian Puckett of Canton served as groomsmen.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Woodstock.
