A one-vehicle crash caused traffic to be blocked Thursday night around 7 p.m. at the Oak Hill Road and Highway 81 intersection when a car ran off the road into a steep drop-off. The driver was a 58-year-old Lawrenceville man who was transported to Walton Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Georgia State Patrol investigated the crash and James E. Hall was cited for DUI, pending results of blood tests, and failure to maintain lane. Traffic in both directions was periodically blocked while a wrecker pulled the vehicle back up onto the roadway.
