Chris Giella, owner of Chick-fil-A in Covington, hands a $1,000 check to Tamara Richardson, consultant for the Miracle League of Newton County. The money was raised during Chick-fil-A's Spirit Day held Dec. 4. A portion of sales from that day were donated to help build a baseball field for special-needs children.
