COVINGTON -- A traffic shift will take place on Ga. Highway 142, north of Wheat Street to the traffic light at Lochridge Boulevard in Covington at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Georgia Department of Transportation has announced.
Settler's Grove Road at Ga. Highway 142 will be closed the day of the shift and will reopen by the end of the day. Additionally, on the day of the shift, traffic will enter/exit Settler's Grove Road from Hazelbrand Road.
To assist in the movement of this traffic shift, traffic signals will be repositioned at the intersection of Ga. Highway 142 and Lochridge Boulevard. Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist in this traffic operation.
