Who knew you could do so much with Ritz crackers in addition to eating them as a snack or with cheese or soup? Have you ever tried coating chicken tenders in Ritz? Well, if you haven't, you should give it a try.
Ritz chicken tenders might be my new favorite chicken dish. The Ritz crackers give the chicken the crunchy look and taste of fried chicken tenders, just minus the deep fried calories.
My mother-in-law and I were chatting about this recipe over the phone recently. It sounded so good I went home and made it that night.
Normally, I am a stickler for going exactly by a recipe when first trying to cook up a new dish. But this time I stepped out on a limb and estimated the amounts of some ingredients; I thought I couldn't mess it up too bad.
For a little more flavoring, you will also be adding a packet of ranch dressing mix to the tenders and that really gives the tenders a delicious flavor. Enjoy.
