Sgt. Jonathan McCroy unloads Girl Scout cookies at the Covington National Guard Armory on Wednesday. Sisters Sarah and Charlotte McCauley of Girl Scout Troop 20319 in Atlanta delivered 12,000 boxes of cookies to be shipped to troops overseas via Operation Sandbox. The girls coordinated the collection and delivery of cookies for their service unit, which includes 90 scout troops. Folks who didn't want to purchase cookies for themselves had the opportunity to buy boxes and donate to the troops.
